Get Involved: Village Committees

The Mayor and Board of Trustees invite residents and business owners to apply for positions on advisory committees being established in support of the Village’s Comprehensive Plan. These committees will provide an opportunity for community members to share perspectives, offer input, and help shape a vision for the future of the Village.

Committees will meet at Manorhaven Village Hall and will work with the Board of Trustees and the firm developing the Village Comprehensive Plan.

CURRENT COMMITTEES

Zoning Advisory Committee

Provides input on zoning and land use matters to support thoughtful planning and consistency with the Village’s character, policies, and long-term goals.

Business and Development Committee

Offers guidance on business-related matters and development considerations to support a healthy and vibrant commercial environment within the Village.

Environmental Committee

Focuses on environmental stewardship and sustainability initiatives that help protect Manorhaven’s natural resources and enhance quality of life for residents and future generations.

Committee Membership & Selection

Each committee will consist of approximately seven to eight members, including representation from the Village’s Board of Zoning Appeals and Planning Board. Committee members will be selected by the Mayor and Board of Trustees, with consideration given to achieving geographic diversity throughout the Village.
